One Week and Counting

Only 1 more week before we begin our BIG adventure.

Packing
Denise has 1 bag packed and a 2nd nearly packed.

Peter on the other hand hasn't started packing anything.  In fact he is waiting to be told to begin packing while typing this blog.  Let's see how we go.

Work
Denise has 1 more day of work.

Today was my last day at work and I was so blown away by the generosity of my work colleagues who donated $300 to St Jude's as a going away present.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart as that meant so much to me.  More than any present could ever do.

Farewells
These are in full swing and it seems like every day we are saying goodbye to another great friend.  It is sad to think we will not see most of you for at least a year, but remember you are more than welcome to come over to Tanzania at any time.  Failing that, email or call us on Skype or Viber.


We still have several more farewells to do, least of which is family - the toughest of them all.

I would just like to say a great big thank you to everybody for your wonderful support and encouragement.  It means so much to Denise and myself to know you are there for us.
