This week it is business as usual. We got back from Zanzibar with upset
stomachs, but that cured within a day or 2.

On Saturday, St Jude's began their student
selection. I (Peter) didn't get to see
much as I had to go to town to get veges, but on the way out of the school there
were all these little children and their parents waiting to get in the
gate. When I got out to Smith Campus
(the secondary school), there were more kids and parents. This time the parents were coming to the
school to get their child's results.
Saturday afternoon I was going to go to
basketball. About 1 hour before the game
was due to begin, down came the rain - the courts are outdoor. I sent a message to the organiser, but got no
reply. I turned up at the courts about
10mins before the game was due to begin and it was still sprinkling, but nobody
else was there so I came home again. I
didn't get a response to my SMS until well after 10pm.
Saturday evening we went to a fund raiser for
an orphanage and got home around 11pm.
Denise has now got an upset stomach, so I hope I'm OK because I ate and
drank what she did, just from a different plate.
One thing I do like here is when you are
eating something with bones, and you have finished with the bone you put it on
the table. The eating is usually done
with the fingers, so it is wise to wash hands before and after.
To all those who did the ANZAC Day Kokoda
trip, I would love to hear how it went.
Surprise, the internet has been down again,
so posting this has been delayed.
Sunday afternoon we heard that there was a
bomb blast in a catholic church in Arusha.
Details are still filtering through, but it looks like there was at
least one death and many injured. I was
supposed to go out Sunday afternoon, but erred on the side of caution and
instead stayed at the school.
Until next week.
